Al-Kaaba and Kids is a thoughtfully written children’s book designed to help young readers learn about the Holy Kaaba—the sacred qiblah of all Muslims—in a correct, meaningful, and engaging way. The book aims to nurture love for the Kaaba in children’s hearts, strengthening their connection to prayer and deepening their appreciation for its importance in Islam.

Written in a simple, child-friendly language and presented in an attractive style, the book introduces children to Al-Masjid Al-Haram, the first mosque built for the worship of Allah on earth, at the center of which stands the Kaaba. Through clear explanations, children gain a strong foundational understanding of the Kaaba and its central role in Muslim worship.

The book goes beyond describing the Kaaba alone by also introducing children to some of the surrounding sacred places and explaining their significance. To make learning more enjoyable and memorable, the book includes fun exploration and discovery activities and stickers that help children retain beautiful visual images of the Kaaba and Al-Masjid Al-Haram.

Children will learn that the Kaaba is the direction Muslims face in the five daily prayers and the sacred structure around which Muslims perform tawaf during Hajj, one of the five pillars of Islam. The book also highlights the deep love of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for Makkah and Al-Masjid Al-Haram, inspiring children to love these sacred places by following his example. الكعبة والأطفال هو كتاب موجَّه للأطفال يهدف إلى مساعدتهم على معرفة الكعبة المشرّفة، قبلة المسلمين، بشكل صحيح، وغرس حبّها في قلوبهم، مما يُسهم في تقوية ارتباطهم بالصلاة وزيادة محبتهم لها. وقد كُتب الكتاب بأسلوب جذاب ولغة سلسة تناسب الأطفال، ليعرّفهم بأول مسجد بُني لعبادة الله في الأرض، وهو المسجد الحرام الذي تتوسطه الكعبة المشرفة.

لا يقتصر الكتاب على الحديث عن الكعبة فقط، بل يتناول أيضًا بعض الأماكن المجاورة لها، ويشرح أهميتها بأسلوب مبسّط يناسب الصغار. وحرصًا على جعل القراءة أكثر متعة وتشويقًا، يتضمن الكتاب أنشطة للبحث والاكتشاف وملصقات تساعد الأطفال على الاحتفاظ بالصورة الجميلة للكعبة والمسجد الحرام في ذاكرتهم البصرية، وتشجعهم على حبّ هذه الأماكن المقدسة والرغبة في زيارتها.

يتعرّف الأطفال في هذا الكتاب على الكعبة التي نتوجّه إليها في الصلوات الخمس المفروضة كل يوم، والتي نطوف حولها أثناء أداء فريضة الحج، أحد أركان الإسلام الخمسة. كما يتعرّفون على مدى حبّ النبي محمد ﷺ للمسجد الحرام ولمكة المكرمة وتعلّقه بهما، ليزداد حبّهم لهما اقتداءً بالنبي ﷺ واتباعًا لهديه.
