Sorry Is Not A Solution is a meaningful and engaging children’s story that follows the daily adventures of Mashmash, a lovable character who faces many situations where he makes mistakes. Each time, he says “sorry” — but soon learns that words alone are not always enough to fix a problem.

Through relatable events and gentle storytelling, children discover that true responsibility means more than apologizing. It includes honesty, self-control, respect for others, and taking real steps to correct mistakes and make things right.

Inspired by Islamic morals and manners encouraged in the Qur’an and Sunnah, this story helps build strong character and positive behavior in young readers through practical examples they can understand and apply in their daily lives.

آسف ليست حلاً قصة أطفال هادفة وشيّقة تجمع مغامرات شخصية محببة اسمها مشمش خلال يومه، حيث يتعرّض للعديد من المواقف ويقع في بعض الأخطاء. يعتذر ويقول “آسف”، لكن هل كلمة آسف وحدها تكفي فعلًا لحل المشكلات؟

من خلال أحداث قريبة من واقع الطفل وأسلوب قصصي مبسّط، يتعلّم الصغار أن الاعتذار الحقيقي لا يكون بالكلمات فقط، بل يتبعه تصحيح للخطأ وتحمل للمسؤولية، مع التحلّي بالصدق وضبط النفس واحترام الآخرين.

تهتم القصة بغرس عدد من الأخلاق والآداب الإسلامية التي حثّ عليها القرآن والسنة، والتي نرجو أن يتحلّى بها أبناؤنا في حياتهم اليومية.

أهداف القصة:

• غرس مراقبة الله عز وجل في نفس الطفل

• تعزيز قيمة الصدق

• الحث على ضرورة الاستئذان قبل استعمال أشياء الآخرين

• التشجيع على ضبط النفس والتحكم فيها قبل الوقوع في الخطأ والسعي للتغيّر للأفضل

• توضيح خطوات الاعتذار: الاعتراف بالخطأ، والاعتذار، ثم محاولة حل المشكلة وعدم الاكتفاء بكلمة آسف

• الحث على المشاركة والكرم بين الأطفال
